School of Nip & Nosh: Bell Cellars
Last night, we welcomed Anthony Bell from Bell Cellars to our monthly wine dinner with Ashe’s Wine and Spirits. And what a treat it was! We became the first in Tennessee to taste Bell’s new California Red blend, a blend of Cabernet sauvignon, Syrah and Zinfandel that makes a perfect, affordable table wine.

Now onto the meal. After a brief introduction from Holly and representatives of Ashe’s, Anthony told us the story of how Bell Cellars came to exist out of a scrawny vined “Clone 6” grape that had spectacular flavors.
